MINISTRIES
There is a spot for everyone at Gospel Light.
Children's Ministry
Sunday School and Junior Church are offered during our Sunday morning services. During the summertime, grades K-2nd meet downstairs and grades 3rd-6th meet outside in our YouthZone. It is a time of playing games, singing songs, and listening to real life Bible applications. Children earn treasure chest tickets by bringing their Bible, memorizing Scripture, participating in Bible quiz time, and singing songs. They can use their tickets to purchase prizes from the Treasure Chest after each service.
Teen Ministry
At Gospel Light, we want to nurture a heart for God in today's generation. Teenagers are able to hear teen specific preaching every Sunday morning and every Wednesday night. They are given weekly opportunities to serve in the church. Several activities are planned throughout the year to encourage our teens: summer camps, monthly Saturday activities, youth rallies,
and more.
Adult Groups
Our adult classes provide an in-depth study of the Word of God through book studies, character sketches, and theme and word studies. There are so many different opportunities for adults to get involved in church, whether as a teacher, usher, or helper.
Soul Winning
The heart of Gospel Light. We believe soulwinning to be part of obeying our Lord's Great Commission, we have a weekly time on Saturday where we reach out into the community with the gospel of Christ. Be a part of this ministry to help reach the lost.
Music Ministry
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16.
Christian music is that music in which text, music, performers, and performance practices are conforming and honoring to Christ in every note, rhythm, and lyric.
At Gospel Light Baptist Church, we believe that music in the church should exalt the Lord as well as educate, encourage, and edify the believers and the whole church; and be used by believers to evangelize the lost by showing the change in their hearts and song.
